I sat there, watching the loading wheel spin like a digital noose. My potential investor was staring at a frozen slide of our growth projections while I frantically toggled my laptop’s Wi-Fi. It was humiliating. But more than that, it was a wake-up call. I realized that day that our ‘cost-saving’ internet plan was actually … Read more

I sat there, staring at a row of empty ergonomic chairs that cost more than my first car. It was Tuesday at 10 AM, and the only sound in our fifty-person office was the hum of a refrigerator. I stood in the middle of our “executive lounge,” a space that cost me an extra $1,200 a month, and realized I was the only person who had stepped foot in it for three weeks. My team was huddled around a single table in the kitchen, laptops clashing, while the “dedicated brainstorming zone” sat silent … Read more

I was halfway through a high-stakes pitch when my neighbor started his leaf blower right outside my window. There I was, suit jacket on top, sweatpants on the bottom, frantically trying to explain our Q3 projections while my connection stuttered. It was a mess. Your home Wi-Fi is failing your presentations, and quite frankly, so … Read more
